This is a place where I have gathered my notes and things I wanted to share with others, and published them openly. I post here irregularly and do not treat it as a regular pursuit. It is more a way of getting my thoughts out on a subject I happen to be discussing with someone, or one that has especially caught my attention and felt worth documenting.

I am a software engineer and architect, specialising in cloud solutions (GCP and AWS) and data architecture. Over the years, I have worked on projects involving genetic data, satellite data, military systems, and telemetry from autonomous vehicles and aircraft.

I have worked on software for processing data volumes reaching hundreds of terabytes per day. I have been programming since childhood. I started with Pascal and C++, and professionally I have worked mainly with Python and Go, although I tend to choose languages to suit the problem rather than the other way round.
